The purpose of
Microcredit FSE
This particular moment in history and resources from the POR FSE 2007-2013 - Regione Campania are the background of the entrepreneurial microcredit.
The difficult access to credit
According to the latest European Union agreements, Italian banks have adopted very strict criteria to grant credit. New restrictions and credit crunch have increased the number of non-bankable individuals.
Public and private organisations try to ease their situation through microcredit projects, which are usually confined to a city or a province and with a low budget available. Despite their increasing number, social microcredit initiatives are mainly addressed to families.
The global crisis and financial exclusion
The deep global crisis has produced a long recession period, that has affected - and still is - the European Union and Italy, too, with million companies and people involved.
Among the negative consequences, the financial exclusion: the ever-growing troubles encountered by those who need a loan, but can’t provide adequate guarantees.
The microcredit
The so-called “entrepreneurial microcredit” for business ideas is usually less congruous.
So, here’s the Microcredito FSE launched by Regione Campania: the fund is based upon considerable resources from the POR FSE 2007-2013 - Regione Campania (European Social Fund) and is mostly addressed to young people, women and disadvantaged individuals.
